The antenna you are thinking about making, will you be using a fibreglass extending pole ?

at the min im usin a carbon pole as just a pole to get me in the air i put a herrin bone connector at the top and run it vertical wire to the house about 24 ft vertical and resr horizontal it seems to be ok.i got a few w2 and w4 stations last night so it seems to be ok.

It seems the the 24 ft vertical and horizontal wire is working OK if you were able to pick up two stations in the US.
If the extending pole you have was made of fibreglass, like a 10 metre SOTA pole, I was going to suggest that you make a 40 metre quarter wave vertical. The carbon pole you have may not be suitable as a vertical, however I'll give you the specification.
31 ft 1 in. of plastic covered 7 strand single core wire for 1:1 SWR at 7.060 with a raised resonant radial of 32 ft 6.5 ins, at least 4 ft above ground. With a tuner you will have excellent results on 40 and 30 metres, but as you go up in frequency the radiation angle of the vertical will go higher. You will make contacts on 20 metres but could find it difficult on 17 metres and upwards. You may be able to bring the wire into resonance on 80 metres and you should be able to make contacts on that band.
