Ft-897 On 2 Mtrs

HI HAS ANYONE ANY EXPERIANCE OF THE FT897 ON 2 AND 70, ARE THEY ANY GOOD, I KNOW DEDICATED ARE THE BEST BUT THATS NOT WHAT I AM ENQUIRING ABOUT,,ANY INFO GREATLY APPRECIATED,,

Hi

Jock I have an 857d and its ok. Its not the best but it works well for me.

Alot depends on what you want to use it for and the antenna its connected to.

I use westflex and 9 ele tona best dx so far just over 1000km at 68m asl ssb. Fm tri-band col 660 KM best dx.

Hi

Jock keep an eye on ebay I have seen the big companys off loading 897d and 857d much cheaper than there websites.
I am talking about new ones not second hand.

Great bang for buck radio , work well all round , but forget the atas on two and seventy , there pants although on hf they take some beating ,,,,,,

We accept all major credit and debit cards
When you decide to enter into and join ‘junksale’ as a member or as commercial advertiser or on a one advert basis.  You will be required to enter your credit/debit card details.
You must be 100% sure that your advert is correct as once our card processing team deal with your request and payment has been accepted we will not refund any monies in the event of a mistake. If a mistake has occurred then you must email immediately to contact@junksale.co.uk with a link to your advert so our administration team can either withdraw the advert or reset your advert. Failure of ‘no response’ or ’no sale’ to your advert or the sale of your goods will also not be eligible for a refund. We will reject all card charge back’s .
We will also not refund an advert if we feel that your advert has inappropriate language/images which lead’s to our administration team deleting your advert from ‘junksale’.
Only in extreme circumstances will we refund your advert.  A refund request by email or letter with detailed information outlining your request with information to substantiate your claim. This may take up to fourteen days for a response.

If for any reason the junksale web site becomes unavaiable due to technical errors we will add time onto the web site and your advert and membership. Timing will be increased to compensate for the web site down time. We will not offer a refund and will reject all card charge backs.
