FT-450 users

Hi,

I just purchased a FT-450 Used.

I have a question regarding the display, i cannot seem to get the display how i would like it using the dimm and contrast fuctions.

I am curious if all ft-450 are like this , using the settings avaliable it is impossible to make the un illuminated items black , they are all visible all the time. the ones that are selected are far more visible and it appears just to be the backlight showing through all the options on screen.

I just find it slightly annoying and it is not as good as i expected the display to be.

Anyone else feel the same ?

Hi Sam.
I know what you mean - on mine you can read the txt on the un-illuminated options on the display quite clearly - as you say the selected options are far brighter though.

We accept all major credit and debit cards
When you decide to enter into and join ‘junksale’ as a member or as commercial advertiser or on a one advert basis.  You will be required to enter your credit/debit card details.
You must be 100% sure that your advert is correct as once our card processing team deal with your request and payment has been accepted we will not refund any monies in the event of a mistake. If a mistake has occurred then you must email immediately to contact@junksale.co.uk with a link to your advert so our administration team can either withdraw the advert or reset your advert. Failure of ‘no response’ or ’no sale’ to your advert or the sale of your goods will also not be eligible for a refund. We will reject all card charge back’s .
We will also not refund an advert if we feel that your advert has inappropriate language/images which lead’s to our administration team deleting your advert from ‘junksale’.
Only in extreme circumstances will we refund your advert.  A refund request by email or letter with detailed information outlining your request with information to substantiate your claim. This may take up to fourteen days for a response.

If for any reason the junksale web site becomes unavaiable due to technical errors we will add time onto the web site and your advert and membership. Timing will be increased to compensate for the web site down time. We will not offer a refund and will reject all card charge backs.
