ft-2000

Hello im just wondering if anyone that is using the FT-2000 can please give me some tips on how to set up the audio output? im having some difficulty with the manual. im trying to acheive a nice output from the radio that only uses a very small amount of bass with plenty of high end. im trying to acheive this without the use of the processor at the moment..any advice would be most welcome..

what mic are you using have loads of settings here i use a pr40 form heil on mine!
and are you on the latest firmwere?

Hi Wayne, hope you well mate!!

Your audio was superb when Ian (M0IOD) and I had a QSO with you a week or so back whilst portable!!

I have the FT-950 and all I tend to do is to get a mate (usually Ian as he gives honest reports!) to listen out on frequency while I fiddle with the menu settings, then he pa***s back whether it is too toppy or there is too much Bass etc!!

Im just using the standard fist mike and yes it has the latesf firmware installed.

Hi dave hope you and ian are both well?? im going to have to get my mate like you said but its very tedious going through the menu settings as there are a lot to have a go at on the ft-2000 anyway take care mate and thanks...
