Its a shame that people are leaving but, if you feel you need to then take it easy and maybe see you on another site.

I think people need to give this new site some time to see how it goes before taking desperate steps.

The only part of the new site I don't like is the way for sale adverts are now placed. I for one do not like putting private information on a site.

Hello Andy, my thoughts entirely, I dont operate any longer but listen
quite a bit, you always sound nice on the radio, like a Boro accented version of Barry White
with that nice wide, bassy ssb audio, quite wierd the first time I heard you.
I wont make many more posts on here, only when I think it is needed.
I also have other fish to fry, work takes 6 days a week at the moment, plus I have too many outdoor intersts in the spring , summer & autumn to be bothered sitting in my shack yakking or behind a keyboard, but I will always make time to reply when he decides to insult someone from behind a computer
To me it is the ultimate cowardice, I wonder if he would insult snitchsnorker to his face, considering his job @ work .

Knickebein, you made admissions having sat and failed a Morse test several times you accepted failure, then several months later tried passing yourself off as a 12wpm success, you left the site 2 years go through embarrassment after your own posts were threw back in your face but not before posting a string of profanities before you left, the archives may no-longer exist but people still have memories you know

I'll reiterate, I never keyed a mic since the 70's until I took out an Amateur licence and I challenge you to prove otherwise, I also challenge you to reveal your callsign and I'll bet any amount of money they'll be a Foundation Licence callsign tucked in there.

A while ago but it was a general receive, not too elaborate but in full compliance with what was expected , Ibuilt it and tested working by listening to broadcast stations, can't be 100% sure but about 6 took the Course and sat the exam, I can't remember the circuit as i'm not into homebrewing but can remember fiberglass PCB and lead solder used. The club was the Foyle and District and it's instructors are listed on it's website.

Any full licence other than my Irish licence is through CEPT agreement (that includes mi0fds)......must I spoonfeed more?

Errmmnn, I haven't been banned for spitting dummies though in fairness I think your drunken state at the time played a major role in that episode because in sobriety you appear to have the discipline to refrain from eff'ing and blinding and generally behaving like a fishwife though those other two traits, compulsive lying and the inferiority complex keep rearing their ugly head, once you get you're head round those character flaws you'll be sorted.
